Bunting and Community Building
Jul 24th, 2010 | By Jallan | Category: Penhill News
During the last month, a lot of Penhill residents have been meeting at Seven Fields School to make and decorate bunting for the world record attempt to be held at Lydiard Park on The Big Arts Day in July.
Students from Kingdown joined with students of Seven Fields along with residents of the community to carry out this project. They were all fed and waited on by the children and found the children all helpful and friendly. Residents of Lillian Lock Gardens and the warden from Lillian Lock Gardens made a lot of friends with the children.
We all hope to continue the association with the school with other projects in the future. Unfortunately the record attempt was short by 2500 pennants but still a great effort by all the children and people involved.
