We need Volunteers

Penhill Players have annual accounts that need to be examined by a volunteer. Someone with good maths skills and commitment to assist longer term would be much appreciated.

Penhill Community Café are looking for someone to be their Treasurer. This will involve making weekly entries of income and expenditure and dealing with petty cash and keeping the till and shopping floats topped up weekly. The person would also need to attend monthly committee meetings.

Penhill Lunch Club is in need of someone willing to help with setting up the hall either Tuesdays in the afternoon or Wednesdays morning, before 11am. Preferably a male since carrying heavier tables and chairs is involved. Does not take much time, 15 minutes /week.

The 2nd Swindon Scouts Association have several vacancies for positions of scout leaders or scout leader assistants. Everyone knows someone who used to be or has a child in the local scout group. Let’s keep this tradition going in Penhill. New people needed very much.

Penhill Community Association based at Chippenham Close Community Centre is looking for a keen gardener or someone willing to maintain their small garden adjacent to the building. Low maintenance, moving the grass and trimming the hedges involved only.
